Who we are

The CRPBC is an informal, inclusive group of over 450 Clinical Research Professionals who work primarily in the lower mainland of British Columbia. We provide networking and professional development opportunities for everyone working in the clinical research profession, grant funded or industry sponsored. CRPBC members range from those with 25 years of experience (or more) to new grads from the biotech & sciences sector. Members work in all therapeutic areas, for Canadian, American and European projects.

The CRPBC will not share your information with anyone and will use the information to contact you, by email, with meeting reminders or special notices.

British Columbia Clinical Research Infrastructure Network Participation Survey

CALLING ALL CLINICAL TRIAL SITES!

Join us in an initiative to work together to address the recruitment challenge facing community and academic sites in BC. The BC Clinical Research Infrastructure Network (BCCRIN) is conducting a anonymous province-wide survey of clinical trial participants and those who have declined participation to learn more about the motivating factors and the clinical trial experience, directly from participants living our province. Participating sites are being identified NOW! Join us by completing the bottom section of the Invitation Letter!

The report provides the results of clinical trial inspections conducted by Health Canada’s Inspectorate Program (Inspectorate) between April 1, 2004 and March 31, 2011. It endeavours to inform stakeholders and the public about clinical trial inspections in Canada. By providing examples of common deficiencies cited during inspections, Health Canada aims to promote greater regulatory compliance, improve transparency, and provide a better understanding of regulatory oversight of Canadian clinical trials.

Ce rapport présente les résultats des inspections d’essais cliniques réalisées par le Programme de l’Inspectorat (Inspectorat) de Santé Canada du 1er avril 2004 au 31 mars 2011. Il vise à renseigner les intervenants et la population sur les inspections des essais cliniques au Canada. En donnant des exemples de déficiences fréquemment relevées durant les inspections, Santé Canada souhaite promouvoir une meilleure conformité aux règlements, améliorer la transparence, et donner à tous une meilleure idée de la surveillance réglementaire effectuée relativement aux essais cliniques canadiens.
